12.11.22 Pediatric Colorectal Surgery & Transition to Adult Care with Dr. Alessandra Gasior Dr. Alessandra C. Gasior, DO, FACS is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon in Columbus, OH. She earned her medical degree at KCUMB in Kansas City, Missouri followed by Residency training at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She subsequently completed a Surgical Scholar fellowship and Pediatric Trauma/Critical Care fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Pediatric Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship and Pediatric Colorectal Fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Gasior completed an Adult Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gasior is board certified in general surgery, critical care surgery and colorectal surgery. She practices pediatric and adult colorectal surgery at OSU and NCH. Career interests are congenital colorectal transitional programs for pediatric and adult patients particularly in anorectal malformations, Hirschsprung disease and inflammatory bowel disease.
