About

The Colorectal Surgery Virtual Educational Series (CRSVirtualEd) was started at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic when Drs. Kethman and Abelson were in the midst of colorectal fellowship. Clinical activities and social engagements were severely limited. The goal of the series was to create a weekly educational curriculum to serve current fellows, faculty members, and interested residents with key topics in colorectal surgery.

Since its inception, the series has grown to be a weekly program, garnering experts in the field. CRSVirtualEd has expanded beyond its original platform in partnerships with Behind the Knife and SurgeON, providing wider access to viewers.
