Dr. Ashburn is Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She attended medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She went on to pursue her Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship at the University Hospitals in Cleveland. Dr. Ashburn has a special interest in IBD and reconstruction options in these technically challenging operations.
Dr. Feza Remzi is a colorectal surgeon at NYU Langone and is an expert in the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease. As a national and international expert in colorectal surgery, he has published many articles and book chapters on the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease, ileal J-pouch surgery, and reoperative abdominopelvic surgery.
