3.19.23 APDCRS Robotics – TME Dissection with Dr. Amanda McClure Amanda M. McClure, MD, FASCRS, FACS, is a board-certified general and colon and rectal surgeon. Dr. McClure specializes in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, as well as minimally invasive transanal procedures. She has clinical interests in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer. Dr. McClure specializes in treating diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease and anorectal disorders including hemorrhoids, fissures, abscesses and fistulas. She performs specialized testing and treatment for pelvic floor disorders, including constipation and fecal incontinence.
Reoperative Surgery of the Abdomen and Pelvis with Dr. Jean Ashburn Dr. Ashburn is Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She attended medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She went on to pursue her Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship at the University Hospitals in Cleveland. Dr. Ashburn has a special interest in IBD and reconstruction options in these technically challenging operations.
